What is a Hemet Valley Mall Gift Card?
A Hemet Valley Mall Gift Card is a prepaid card that can be used to purchase gifts and services in many retail stores and restaurants in our Hemet Valley Mall.
Where can I use my Hemet Valley Mall Gift Card?
The Gift Card can be used at all participating stores within the mall displaying the
Discover™ Network logo. Visit our Hemet Valley Mall Management Office or go to
www.MyPrepaidCard.info for a list of participating stores.
Where can I purchase Hemet Valley Mall Gift Cards?
Hemet Valley Mall Gift Cards can be purchased by phone by calling 877-GIFT-TO-GO
(443-8864) or on-line at our website
HemetValleyMall.net. Cards can also be purchased at the Mall Management Office Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm.
In what denominations can I purchase a Hemet Valley Mall Gift Card?
Hemet Valley Mall Gift Cards can be purchased in any amount ranging from $15 to $500.
If I purchase a Hemet Valley Mall Gift Card on-line, how long does it take to receive the Card?
Your purchase will typically be fulfilled within 24-48 hours.Shipping will vary, depending on service selected at time of order.
Can I use my Hemet Valley Mall Gift Card with multiple merchants?
Yes, as long as you have a balance remaining on your Card you can use it among different merchants in the same shopping trip.
Can I use my Hemet Valley Mall Gift Card for a payment on a store credit card?
No, Hemet Valley Mall Gift Cards can only be used to purchase merchandise.
How do I check the available balance on my Gift Card?
You may obtain your Gift Card balance by:
1) Visiting the management office, Customer Service or Concierge desk at the Mall. (no charge)
2) Visiting www.MyPrepaidCard.info
(no charge)
3) Calling the interactive voice response system at 1-877-368-7530. (49˘ fee applies to the customer per call.)
4) Calling the above number and pressing the correct prompt to speak with a live customer service operator. (95˘ fee applies to the customer per call.)
5) Balances can be obtained on most merchant sales receipts after the transaction (available balance appears within the authorization code).
Is the Gift Card valid without my signature?
Gift Cards must be signed by the user. Merchants will verify the user’s signature on the receipt with the signature on the back of the Gift Card.
What if the purchase amount is more than the available balance on my Gift Card?
To make a purchase that is greater than the amount of the Available Funds, ask
the cashier if they can accept two forms of payment. If the cashier agrees,
pay the difference with another form of payment accepted by the merchant (many merchants can only accept cash or check as the other form of payment), and then use your Gift Card to pay the remaining balance. Not all merchants offer this as an option.
Why do I have to keep track of my Gift Card balance? Why can’t the store tell me the balance remaining?
Each time you use your Gift Card the amount is automatically deducted from your Card available balance. Because Hemet Valley Mall Gift Cards utilize the
Discover™ Network, mall stores don’t have access to the Card balance information until after the transaction is completed. Your Gift Card remaining balance will appear within the authorization number that is printed on your receipt after completing the transaction.
Do restaurants and salons accept the Gift Card?
Some restaurants and nail/hair salons accept the Gift Card. Typically restaurants and salons add a fixed percentage (approx. 25%) to the authorization amount when they swipe your Gift Card for authorization to cover the tip that would normally be added to the transaction amount. Depending on the Available Funds, the transaction may be declined if your available balance will not cover the purchase amount plus the additional authorization amount, or it may result in a “hold” for the additional amount. To avoid complications, you can generally ask the merchant to only authorize the amount you have requested. See Terms and Conditions for more details.
How do I return something purchased with my Gift Card?
Keep your purchase receipt and Gift Card in case you need to make a return. Return
policies vary at every store. Please inquire about the return or exchange policy when making your purchase. If the merchant issues a credit to the Gift Card, these funds may not be available to you for up to seven (7) business days.Some merchants may issue store credits for returns.
How soon can the Card be redeemed after it has been purchased?
Your Hemet Valley Mall Gift Card is typically activated immediately upon purchase but if system problems occur, we might not be able to activate your Card for up to two (2) business days after the date of purchase.
Why register your Card?
You may register your Card on the Internet at www.MyPrepaidCard.info. Registering your Card is free. Your Card may be replaced if lost, stolen or expired, ONLY if you have previously registered the Card. Registered Cardholders may request a replacement for a lost or stolen Card by contacting NBO at 1-888-489-0464.A replacement Card will be issued to the registered Cardholder with the remaining Card balance less a $5.00 replacement fee.
Does my Hemet Valley Mall Gift Card have an expiration date?
Gift Cards expire a minimum of one (1) year from date of purchase except where prohibited by law. Upon expiration the administrator of the program reserves the right to retain any unspent Card Value as compensation for providing this service. The expiration date on the front of the Card is no different than the expiration date on a credit card. The expiration date is a requirement of the issuing bank in order to process any merchant disputes, which require account number, security code, and expiration date. Consumers can extend their expiration period by transferring their current Card balance to a new Gift Card.
Do Terms and Conditions apply to my Gift Card?
Terms and Conditions apply to all Hemet Valley Mall Gift Cards. Please refer to the backside of your Gift Card and the Terms and Conditions that you received with the Gift Card at time of purchase for this information.
Is there a purchase fee for the Gift Card?
An up front purchase fee may be applied to the purchase amount for the Gift Card. The up front purchase fee helps offset the expenses associated with producing the Gift Cards and associated collaterals.
Are there any account maintenance fees?
No sooner than 365 days from the date of issuance of this Card, we reserve the right to charge a maintenance fee not to exceed $2.50 per month through Card expiration. The account maintenance fee is waived for the first 365 days after the date of purchase. The fee helps offset the expenses incurred for maintaining the Cards. These fees may include but are not limited to; Initial Load and Activation Fees, monthly Account on File Fees that are associated with keeping the Cards active, in addition to other fees and expenses required for the operation, distribution and management of the Cards. The account maintenance fees are clearly outlined in both the Terms & Conditions that accompany every Card and are clearly printed on the back of the Card.
How can I pay for my Hemet Valley Mall Gift Card?
We accept cash, Discover, VISA, MasterCard and American Express.
